The new Choose Ohio First (COF) Student Council successfully hosted its first Meet and Greet. This event created a space to bring together COF scholars for an evening of networking, engagement, and community building. The event provided scholars with an opportunity to meet the COF Student Council Board of Directors, learn about the Council's goals and initiatives, and explore upcoming events and opportunities planned for the academic year. Throughout the evening, scholars connected with fellow COF students, shared their perspectives, and learned how the Council aims to enhance the COF student experience through leadership development, professional growth, academic support, and community engagement. 

The event also encouraged students to share their ideas and feedback, helping the Council better understand scholars' interests and priorities as it plans future activities. With a strong turnout and enthusiastic participation, the Meet and Greet marked an exciting beginning for the COF Student Council. Building on this successful first event, the Council looks forward to creating more opportunities for scholars to connect, collaborate, and develop a stronger sense of community throughout the academic year.
