The COF scholarship program at Ohio State celebrated their AU25 COF Welcome Meeting. This event was designed to offer scholars an opportunity to connect with peers, meet COF staff, and learn more about the resources and expectations for the academic year. Scholars were able to interact in different activities including small-group discussions and networking that fostered a strong sense of community. 

A highlight of the meeting was the introduction of the COF Student Council Board of Directors (SCBD), who shared their vision for the academic year and encouraged other scholars to get involved and take full advantage of their COF experience. The SCBD plays a vital role in representing scholar voices and planning initiatives that support student success. Special recognition to Maya Patel (President), Miguel Abeldano (Vice President), Nihal Patil (Treasurer), Karierah Humphrey (Secretary), and Ethan Strock (Outreach Chair) for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to provide an engaging and supportive experience for the COF family. Their contributions were essential in making the welcome meeting a success.
