Choose Ohio First has impacted my academic career in so many meaningful ways; from being able to focus on my studies better by not having to worry as much about tuition costs to the interactions I have had with other members. I would say what has impacted me the most during my time with COF has been when I was a peer tutor. I feel like I learned about myself and the learning process a lot, while being able to help other students. This allowed me to learn my own subject matter in a more efficient matter as I got to see what worked during tutoring sessions and try out different strategies. I would not have had the opportunity to have an experience like this without the COF scholarship program.
