At Nationwide, Grace uses languages such as Java, Angular, and SQL to develop and maintain the Retirement Solutions’ web application, DCDirect RPLink. When not focusing on school, work, or mentoring, Grace enjoys lifting, running, and knitting. She also volunteers on the weekends at Colony Cats, a cat rescue in Dublin, OH.
Impact of the Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program
"Choose Ohio First has provided a fantastic opportunity for me to create connections with diverse and brilliant people. I met people in my freshman year who were in my cohort that I am still friends with! COF creates a strong sense of community and provided me with many resources that I could go to if I needed anything. The CIR chats let me see what I can do with my degree. COF also allowed me to serve as a mentor, which has honed my leadership skills and helped me to create meaningful relationships with my mentees".
