Undergraduate Research: EJC function
Hi! I'm Arpith Yogish, a Biomedical Engineering undergraduate at The Ohio State University and a senior COFS scholar in the AIOSW-ENG program. I am planning on going to medical school and becoming an Endocrinologist. I love working with technology as a hobby, and I enjoy 3d printing props and functional projects in the Medical Innovations club. Over the last 2.5 years, I've been working as an undergraduate researcher at Singh Lab in the Molecular Genetics Department. We focus on studying RNA and how it breaks down in your cells.
Impact of the Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program
"COFS has helped me connect to many older peers who gave me advice on career decisions, class advice, and tips for surviving college. It also encouraged me to explore all the events on campus, go to office hours, and find clubs that I enjoyed. The mentorship program especially made the college transition easier with resume advice, gaining interpersonal skills, and having a friend to talk with."
