The Advancing an Inclusive Biotech Economy in Ohio (IBE) COF program, which is aligned with The Ohio State University institutional goals, is to develop students in STEM majors that integrate into the biotechnology sector of Ohio’s economy. IBE-Transfer provides a scholarship to students who are transferring from Columbus State Community College (CSCC) and are accepted to The Ohio State University in one of the following majors: Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Neuroscience, Nursing, Pharmacy, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. In Ohio, biotechnology companies represent a strong and growing sector.
